tea for humanity; changing the world, one cup at a time

Tea for Humanity logo
“Tea for Humanity, a non-profit,
volunteer driven, humanitarian response to Hurricane Sandy served
several thousand cups of tea to NYC evacuees and volunteers, added new
partners and seeks donations of tea supplies from businesses and
individuals.”

It’s a complicated task, not many would dare to try or complete but what others may not be aware of is how easy it could be. It’s the little things that matter the most.
Whether it be a small amount of time spent on community service hours
or just lending a helping hand to a needy heart. The whole aspect of
“changing the world” is pretty neat. Imagine one person having that big
of an affect on the world and others.

I grew up learning that everything I do counts. No matter how big or
small; I can change anything I want. But, the most important thing is to
not change yourself!

I want to take the time to recognize the work that the organization Tea for Humanity has been doing the past weeks. Them and their lovely volunteers provide a cup of tea to Hurricane Sandy survivors to bring comfort and inspire hope, love and healing. I love this idea for two reasons; their help for the community, and of course showing the world how one cup of tea can solve some problems in the world.

Of course, you can help them in anyway you would like. Contact them if you are able to donate teas and supplies to help! To volunteer or donate tea products click here. Any little bit can help. Remember: “It’s the little things that matter the most.”
